Rare photo of a sea otter from Detroit Zoo swimming on his stomach. Which is the correct otter way to swim? Should otters swim on their backs or their fronts?

I think otters should float on their backs for fun and relaxation and swim on their stomachs for getting around.

Does this mean that sea otters are always relaxed? It would make sense

Most of the time, they are just chilling on the waves.

An inverted Otter is usually a sign that total relaxation is occurring
